Meet Alaska! Alaska is absolutely incredible! She arrived at the shelter as a stray with her six-week-old kittens. After they were weaned, we sent Mommy 'Laska to be spayed, only to discover she was due to give birth again in about two weeks. This resilient mommy was raising one litter while growing another. Despite the challenges, she did a fantastic job with all of her babies and finally had the opportunity to be spayed, ending her baby-making days for good!

Alaska is a very sweet and quiet girl who will need a little time to adjust to a new home. During her time in foster care, she slowly warmed up to her caretaker and revealed her incredibly sweet nature. Now at the shelter, Alaska is waiting for just the right person to find her.

She loves being around other cats and would prefer her forever home to have a feline friend. In her foster home, she was exposed to large breed dogs. Although she wasn't too keen on them, she was also being protective of her babies. Alaska's gentle and loving personality, combined with her incredible resilience, makes her a truly special kitty. She is ready to bring joy and companionship to a new home where she can finally relax and enjoy the love and care she deserves

Alaska is spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped.

Adoption Fee: $120

HMAS reserves the right to deny any adoption for the best interest of the animal. In the event multiple applications are received, HMAS adoption counselors and staff will choose the best fit for the animal. It is not first come first served.

Come meet her during our public adoption hours or privately by appt.
Tuesdays & Thursdays 5-7pm
Saturdays 1-5pm
